We have exceptionally experienced, well-educated, culturally appropriate staff. The direct service staff consisted of those with doctorates, masters and/or bachelor degrees in the human service or education fields. The current staff is rebuilding and consists of volunteers and paid staff in education and STEM related fields.

Dr. Sharon Shaw-McEwen is a national consultant and the Chief Executive Officer of the Centers for Family Life in Nashville, Tennessee. The Center has developed a model, multi-focused prevention program for African-American families.

The Centers For Family Life, a private non-profit agency, founded in 1985, has had extensive experience, for over two decades, in providing enrichment, prevention, education, and other services to children and their families in Nashville, TN. The Center serves all ethnic groups and is nationally recognized for its culturally appropriate alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention services and training. It is governed by a Board of Directors composed of lay and professional members of the community.
